Outstanding A Level Results
The results highlight the outstanding progress our students make and ensure that the school maintains its position as one of the top non-selective schools in the country for A Level outcomes, once again within the top 10% of all schools nationally.
Whilst success is relative to each individual student, we celebrate the fact that over half of all grades achieved by students are the top A*-B grades and 20% of grades are at A* or A.
Alongside our A Level performance, our vocational results are also exceptionally strong with many students securing Distinction or Distinction*.
Amongst the many success stories are: Benjamin Gnanendra (A*AA), Laura Burke (A*AA), Eyar Berman-Roth (AAA), Kyra Araneta (A*AB), Vishesh Kocchar (AAB), Hanna Ismail (Dist*Dist*Dist* A*AAA), Shania-Mae Wright (Dist*Dist*Dist AA) and Izabela Wudzinska (Dist*Dist*Dist A).
Headteacher, Arwel Jones said: “We are exceptionally proud of the outstanding achievements of all our students who have worked so hard to achieve their goals. The results are a strong reflection of the excellent efforts of students and staff at the school.”
Hider Mahdi, Director of Sixth Form said: “This has been another excellent year at Brentside. We pride ourselves on high levels of achievement and also on the overall development of our students. Well done to all our Year 13 students and all the best for the next exciting step in your journey. At this early stage it appears that the vast majority of students have achieved their first choice university whilst others have secured prestigious apprenticeships with top city firms such as KPMG.”
