Coronavirus Schools Update, 14 May 2020

Many of you will have been following the news and heard the latest announcements around schools reopening, starting with certain year groups returning to primary schools in June. At the moment, it has been made clear that any plans for a potential return to school may change nationally, but there has been some information released by the government which enables schools to start to consider the possible next stages. The school is also involved in weekly meetings with senior Local Authority officers and other Ealing headteachers where potential next steps are discussed.  We now await further national and local guidance but we are using what has been released so far to make initial plans for a number of scenarios.

We know that there is intention "to offer some face-to-face support to supplement the remote education of Year 10 and Year 12 who are due to take key exams next year," and this is potentially due to be at some point in June. We will contact you with further details as we have them.

At this time, in line with national guidance, no year groups are expected to return immediately after half term.
