Posted on 9th SepIf your child, or someone in your household, has symptoms of Coronavirus, they must not attend school. Please see the link for more details.
Posted on 14th SepBrentside High School has reopened to all students in accordance with the latest Government guidance (DfE guidance)
The school governors have approved the school’s risk assessment which has been undertaken to minimise the risk of transmission of Coronavirus to all students and staff on return to school. The school’s updated risk assessment can be found here.
The school has also produced a set of frequently asked questions to help explain some of the aspects of the risk assessment in more detail.
A guide produced by Ealing Local Authority to support your child's return to school can be found here.
Students and staff who display symptoms of Coronavirus must not attend school. Anyone who becomes unwell with a new and persistent cough or a high temperature (37.8 degrees Celsius), or has a loss of, or change in, their normal sense of taste or smell, must stay at home and arrange to have a test using the Government website or by phoning NHS 119.
Anyone with symptoms must self-isolate for 10 days unless they receive a negative test result. Household members of a person with coronavirus symptoms must self-isolate for 14 days, unless the person with symptoms receives a negative test result, or they develop symptoms themselves, in which case the isolation period is 10 days from the onset of symptoms.
If you have any concerns about your child attending school, please contact your child’s Year Leader by telephoning the school, emailing direct or to info@brentsidehigh.ealing.sch.uk.
Parents and carers are respectfully reminded that as part of our risk assessment, only those with appointments will be permitted access to the school site.
